We’ll begin a study unit on shapes and their attributes during this week’s math classes.
Throughout this week’s EL classes, we’ll continue to focus on researching nonfiction texts to learn about frogs. We’ll write informative paragraphs and draw detailed illustrations using the information we have gathered on frogs so we can add these to our “Freaky Frog Booklet”.
Students will begin a geography study unit during our social studies classes this week.
Additional Important Information
Students will take a multiplication and division quiz on 0 through 12 facts every Friday.
Students are asked to wear their DRES shirts on the first Friday of each month to show school pride.
Thank you for supporting Spirit Night at Marco’s last Thursday. It was very delicious!
DRES will hold their annual Spelling Bee on Thursday, December 13. This special event will begin at 5:30 PM in the multi-purpose room.
December 21 will be an Early Release Day. School will dismiss at 12:30 on this day. We will also track out on this day.
Track 4 students will track in on January 28, 2019.
